Look what I’ve found at Etsy today! These handmade embroidered silk ribbon necklace pendants! Embroidered rose, daisy, iris, lily, daffodil, sunflower, hollyhocks, chrysanthemum, and more! They are SO SO pretty!

Just look at the single bright red ruffled poppy that has been hand-embroidered in silk ribbon and cotton embroidery floss onto a pale blue silk dupioni background. Or the white chrysanthemum detailed with pale yellow French knots for the center and green silk for the leaves. The handiwork is so intricate! You can say they’re so fresh and delicate!

I also love the hand embroidered rose in this picture, which is made with variegated purple silk ribbon with a variety of purple shades throughout the bloom. Never seen a purple rose in my life but I definitely heart this!

All the designs are set into an oval metal pendant frame with a matte silver tone finish and is lead and nickel free. Prices for the necklaces vary slightly but most of those I’ve featured here cost around S$50, excluding shipping. Brenda, who design and made these pretty pendants, ships internationally and you can check out her store at bstudio for the fees.

Personalized custom wedding invite card and cute wedding favor

I was so enthralled with these pretty wedding invite and wedding favor. They’re too lovely! I wonder how much time went into the conceptualization because they look well thought out. Just look at the design, the color and the wordings!

The choice of using the pink ribbon and string definitely added a nice touch to the wedding card and wedding favor. I’ll admit that I’m not a keeper of such stuff but I believe many guests would have found it difficult to throw these away.

The idea of the wedding favor is also very sweet. Seeds of love. How apt. How romantic. How meaningful.

Well, the seeds of love are really candies but I really wonder if anyone will eat them. But I also don’t think anyone would follow the instructions. Except maybe the wedding couple. LOL.

Merry Xmas & A Happy New Year

Merry Xmas

I apologize that I haven’t been blogging in this space for a long time. I won’t say anything more because whatever I say are just…excuses. But I just wanted to end the year with a more positive note by posting some well wishes.

Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May 2013 bring you good tidings and may you be blessed with more cute goodies along the way!

A chirpy cute birdie card as a filler post

I’ll be honest that this is a filler post. I’ve been so busy, I haven’t got time to do much here these days. But even though it’s a filler post, you can see it’s still a cute one.

This is a card my friend made of birds, bird house, and an ant trail. Yeah, the two ants right at the bottom. Aren’t they looking cute? And I just have an idea that I should perhaps put up some of these cute card as a table top display. I mean, what’s the point of keeping them in the drawer when they should be displayed as an art.

Okay, got to go now. Happy chirping!
