Dogs gone cute
My dog, if still alive, would have bitten off my head if I tried to put any of these pet costumes on her from Halloween Costume Store. I did try once to dress her up as Santa dog but she clearly wasn’t amused. I doubt the dogs you see here like their get-up that much either but still, there’s no denying that they look really cute.
Well, if they don’t like looking cute, then they can always opt for the dark side with the Devil Dog Costume or better still, Pets Darth Vader Costume. Haha.
Prices start from US$7 and international shipping is available.

Show off these cute screen printed handkerchiefs
These are pretty screen printed 100% cotton handkerchiefs which you would most likely keep as a keepsake or use as a framed picture. I mean who in the right frame of mind would want to use them to blow their nose especially since we have something call tissue paper? But of course you might want to carry them in your pocket or handbag just to show off. Or better still, use them as scarves.
Each hankie measure 50 x 50 cm and cost £8.95 from Sukie. There are 10 designs to choose from although one of them is already sold out.
And while you’re there, you can also check out Sukie’s other products which include a range of silkscreen printed journals and notebooks as well as cushions and tea towels.
International shipping is available.

Stylish contemporary wall art for kids nursery room
I was intrigued when I saw the debut series of contemporary artwork from ASTROPUNKS. The set of four wall art prints entitled In The Woods are meant as wall art for a nursery, yet unlike the usual saccharine-sweet decor pieces, the series is so full of character.
Apart from the clean lines and bold colors, I really like the theme of kids’ kinship with animals. Whether it is the bear, the lion, the elephant or the hummingbird, each illustration is able to captivate the childlike innocence and balance that with the strength depicted by the creatures.
According to the artist Sharon Lee, her ilustrations were inspired by the “chubby baby” Chinese New Year posters, which fuse modern motifs with traditional notions of prosperity, happiness and unity.
The 10″ x 8″ archival pigment prints on canvas wall art are hand-stretched around a wooden frame and are ready-to-hang. They are also scratch and water resistant plus most important, being glass-free makes these wall art extremely child safe.
