Innocently sweet embroidered wear with vulgar words

unique embroidered apparel

Who would have thought? Dirty sayings embroidered in these great cut fresh colored simple tops. No time to fuck. So innocently sweet yet so wickedly perverted. Something you don’t want your mother to read or your daddy to see. And it’s not one, but various embroidered dirty one-liners in tops of different designs from Locher’s which you can pick. So show off your wit and charm with these dirty one-liners:

And my favourite: I can only please one man a day. Today is not your day. And tomorrow doesn’t look good either.

Seriously, the designs are so fresh and pretty, I think even a prude wouldn’t mind wearing them. Beyond the dirty line, the embroidery work is actually top rated.

Environmentally friendly veggie-themed hoodies and t-shirts

hoodie

Even if you’re not big on environmentalism, you’ll love the selection of hoodies and t-shirts at The Herbivore Clothing, which make veggie-themed clothes without the use of sweatshop labour. They offer fashionable alternatives and is committed to making conscientious shoppers look good and feel better!

I love the Wings Are Not For Flying and Cow Hugger Zip Up Hoodies.  Lovely head turning designs there!  And instead of just talking about going green, why not wear the Vegetarianism Is Environmentalism t-shirt?

Apart from ladies’ wear, the company also offer kids’ clothings as well as accessories like bags, belts, wallets and other items like books, buttons and stickers based on the same vegetarian theme.

Christmas greeting embroidery

Embroidery for fun

These are new one-point stitch embroidery that I just made last week, after my first attempt some moons ago.  The first one is a Christmas greeting and the other is a fountain stitched on a hankie.

I really love doing this as the output is always cute looking.  And the best part is that you can draw about anything and stitch them anyway you want.  But I have to say, it can be quite time consuming.  The Christmas greeting embroidery took me about a day to complete.

Merry X’mas everyone!

One-of-a-kind unique recycled book bags

Recycled book bags

What do you think these bags are made from?  Books of fiction and fairy tales!Interesting? You bet! Pretty? Definitely!

There’s a whole list of bags all made from real old hardback books at Rebound Designs. The creator, Caitlin, handcrafts each purse from start to finish. She takes about 8 - 10 hours to make each purse and the process includes removing the pages the cover, keeping the spine as the bottom of the purse and sewing fabric to complete the purse.

In addition, efforts are also put into sourcing for unique fabrics and books which were already falling apart, damaged or unwanted to ensure there’s no wastage. In fact, she doesn’t throw away the pages and can ship to customers at request when they purchase a bag.

As each book bag is one-of-a-kind, you’ll need to check with Caitlin on the availability. Depending on the design, prices are in the range of $120 thereabout.

Lolly-like tupperware jewelry

Vintage brooch pins

Would you believe that these bright, candy-coloured vintage flower pins, rings and bracelets are made from tupperwares? Yes, I’m referring to those plastic tight-sealing food containers.

“If it looks like a lolly, I like it,” said the artist Liana Kabel, an Australian artist based in Brisbane. Her inspirations probably came from her mother, who was a Tupperware lady for 20 years and her dad who was a jeweller.

Besides the flower pins, rings and bracelets, Liana also makes very arty looking necklaces and earrings out of the plastic containers. Totally one-of-a-kind designs!

Check out her range at lianakabel. And you may like to know that shipping is US$5 flat to anywhere in the world.
