Tons of free cute web graphics for your online space
For those who like cute web graphics, you have to check out this wonderful Japanese website WakWak I just came across. It has tons, I repeat, tons of free web graphics. And all of them are really kawaii! What I’m showing you is only a sampling of what is available. There are much more and of different varieties. I spent a good hour or so going through them!
Most of them are on children, but there are a number on animals and festivities. You can also find wallpaper, banners, graphical icons and animated gifs which you can used to adorn your blog, website or myspace. They’re all free but this means, you should remember to give credit to the site.
To navigate, look for the word Enter and look out for the top 2nd link (in Japanese) and click enter again. You will find a whole list of numbers on the left sidebar. Click on those and you’ll get to the graphics.

Free animal illustrations from Hohhi.com
I really love Japanese sozai, which literally means materials, and in this case, cute graphical materials. But the ones I love have a certain magical quality. They’re not just cute. They’re almost life-like. Like these illustrations from Hohhi.com, where animals come alive in an innocent world of their own. So sweet, and so endearing.
You can find many free illustrations from Hohhi.com which are free to use, including pretty wallpapers and cute icons to decorate your blog or personal website. Just remember to give proper credits and they’re a-okay to use. The website is in Japanese but the main sections are in English so it’s easy to navigate.
Have fun!

Japanese inspired embroidery and stitching
I started a new project on embroidery, after posting about stitchette embroidery patterns earlier. As I have never done embroidery, I got some Japanese stitching and embroidery books from a local bookstore. You can find similar books at Superbuzzy which specializes in Japanese crafts, books, fabric and cute stuff, with international shipping available.
I really love doing these. I’m thinking of doing book jackets or bookmarks which can be done up quickly. I’ll see how it goes. For the moment, I’m obsessed with getting the images stitched up because they’re really cute!
