Lovely textile canvas using free hand machinery embroidery

stitched embroidered print art

These lovely pieces of art are textile canvas made using free hand machine embroidery. So interesting aren’t they? The different textures and layers are what make the designs different.

I particularly love the Little Legs. The top layer was made with a fine cotton muslin to produce a beautiful muted tone; the skirt was made using felt and lace, and the shoes from felt, were finished off with two beads. Other designs like But I Was Different was made on textured paper with machine stitched detail and felt pieces. Totally one-of-a-kind!

I happen to be in love to imagery on textiles. I just started a textile imagery project. I’d love feedback!
