Pretty bottle cap pincushions inspired by colors of spring, summer & autumn

Do you think pincushions are insipid in the scheme of sewing? Well, certainly not these pretty ones! Inspired by nature with the beautiful colors of spring, the flowers of summer, and the shades of autumn, they’re such eye candies that’ll add cheer to a dull corner!

They’re handmade at a northwoods cabin that sits on a hill that’s right “Up the Creek” from an active beaver pond. That’s the name of the store too! Apparently, over 700 of them have been made and you can take a look at the assortment of pincushions on Flickr here. Don’t you just love the beautiful play of colors?

Prices start from US$6 and international shipping is available. You can even purchase some pretty pins from the store to give the pin cushion some final touches. Even if you don’t sew, you can get them to decorate your desk. Check them out at Up the Creek.

Thanks so much for the shout-out and your very kind words! I’m still hooked on making these and have enough supplies to last a lifetime! I welcome custom orders and can remake almost any of the 700+ I’ve already made.

    Again, thank you!

  2. Love the tiny pin cushions!
